Director & Producer

James Seager

James Seager is LET’s Producer and Company Director. He has fifteen years experience in theatre, television and film.  Involved with Les Enfants Terribles initially as an actor, he moved to producing and directing shows in 2005.  He has produced many award winning shows for the company including THE INFANT and IMMACULATE; both toured internationally after sell out shows in London and Edinburgh, and THE TERRIBLE INFANTS which he also directed.  In 2009 he produced ERNEST AND THE PALE MOON for its Edinburgh premiere and subsequent national tour (The Lowry, Sheffield Studios, Wales Millennium Centre, Harrogate Theatre, Buxton Opera House etc.)  In 2010 and 2011 he directed the award winning THE VAUDEVILLAINS which again returned in 2016.  He also co-directed and produced the First World War drama, THE TRENCH which has toured since 2012.

Other Les Enfants Terribles work includes speciality events such as Petersham Playhouse’s Halloween event LA PETIT MORT, THE HEIST for Heineken’s Champions League Semi Final in Barcelona, THE GOLDEN NEEDLE for Joyce in Hong Kong and SMART METER TAKE OVER in Leicester Square.

In 2015 he co-directed and produced Les Enfants Terribles most successful show to date, ALICE’S ADVENTURES UNDERGROUND which was seen by over 95,000 people and was nominated for an Olivier award.  

Other immersive shows include co-directing THE GAME’S AFOOT and producing DINNER AT THE TWITS.

As a presenter he has worked for Sky Television. He is also an experienced actor and his theatre acting credits include WHIPPING IT UP (New Ambassadors); ROMEO AND JULIET (six month Italian tour) playing Romeo; Puck in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM (Hampstead Theatre); EINSTEIN’S DREAMS (Hoxton Hall) directed by Claude Chagrin.  His acting work with Les Enfants Terribles includes the award winning productions of WEST (Assembly Rooms); THE INFANT and IMMACULATE (Gilded Balloon).  Television and Film includes THE BILL, DREAM TEAM, EASTENDERS, and Steven Poliakoff’s PERFECT STRANGERS.
